Tekla Haines, 86, of North Syracuse passed away Sunday at James Square. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She helped greatly to raise her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Haines.
Tekla is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Burns of North Syracuse; a brother, Frank Marynuik of Syracuse; three Grandchildren, Christopher, Adam and Kelly.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to James Square Health & Rehab. Center.
