Thomas D. Huniford, 60 of Pennellville, passed away on Thursday, March 17th, 2022. He was born on July 25th, 1961 in Syracuse, NY to the late H. John and Ann Huniford.
He was a Millwright Leader at Lockheed Martin for 40 years. He loved spending his summers on the St. Lawrence River, which included boating and beautiful sunsets, writing poems, and helping others. He volunteered at Golisano Children's Hospital. He had a sense of humor that could make everyone laugh. Thomas also loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan; children, Lauren and Kyle; siblings, Mary Lou (James) Tillman and James Huniford; brothers-in-law, Bob (Jaime) Morin and Art Cafarelli; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Andy) LaPolt and Missy Morin; 6 nieces, 9 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
Thomas was predeceased by his brother, J. Matthew, sister, Patricia Cafarelli, brother-in-law, Lee Morin and his aunt, Betty Huniford.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, March 24th, from 4-7pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Friday, March 25th at 10am.
Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Thomas, to Golisano Children's Hospital, 750 E. Adams St. CAB 320, Syracuse, NY 13210.
