Thomas was born in Syracuse, New York on February 8, 1955 to the late Richard and Jane Swete.
He is survived by his four brothers and their family's, Michael Swete, Richard Swete, Robert Swete, and Patrick "Casey" Swete; daughter, Tara; and his beloved cat, Trouble.
