Thomas John Wise II of North Syracuse, born on March 8, 1967, passed away on June 12, 2026. A dedicated machinist and mechanic by profession, Tom applied his skills with precision and care, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Tom was a man who embraced the spirit of the outdoors. He cherished moments spent camping, fishing, and boating, often enjoying jet skiing adventures with family and friends. His summers at his friend’s camp on the Seneca River were especially treasured. Known for his laid-back demeanor, Tom found joy not only in outdoor activities but also in the music that filled his life. He had a great appreciation for Pink Floyd, Metallica, and a wide array of musical styles. When not outdoors or immersed in music, Tom loved spending time in his garage fixing anything from cars to computers.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Scott) Aichner; his son, Thomas “TJ” Wise III; and his sister, Cathy Wise, and many close friends who remember him fondly and carry forward his legacy of kindness and passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas John and Mary Jane Wise.
A visitation to honor and celebrate his life will be held on June 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.
Tom's life was a testament to his love for family, his work, and the outdoors, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
