Timothy C. Morgan, affectionately known as Tim, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2026, at Upstate University in his beloved hometown of Syracuse, NY. Born on August 29, 1960, Tim lived a life grounded in simplicity, warmth, and genuine kindness, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Tim devoted many years of his working life to his role as a cook at Denny’s, a place where his easygoing nature made both coworkers and customers feel welcomed and comfortable. Those who spent time with Tim remember him as a man with a peaceful spirit and a friendly smile—someone who valued the small joys and cherished every moment.

A true sports enthusiast, Tim was an avid fan of the New York Mets and Syracuse University sports teams. He loved attending concerts and sporting events, experiences that brought special vibrancy and joy into his life. When not caught up in the excitement of a game or concert, Tim found pleasure in the companionship of friends on the bowling lanes, where he participated in leagues, and around card tables playing games that filled his days with laughter and camaraderie.

Tim’s family remembers him as a gentle soul with a heart full of love. He is survived by his two sisters, Brenda (Richard) Sheldon and Betty (Red) Meyers, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and family devotion. His nieces and nephews—Clayton Morgan, Heather Morgan, Adam Morgan, Georgette Marshall, and Gary Marshall—will forever treasure memories of his gentle guidance and unwavering support. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Vera Morgan, and his brother, Fred Morgan, whose spirits undoubtedly watch over him with everlasting love.

The community will have the opportunity to celebrate Tim’s life and share their fond memories during a visitation held on April 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. This gathering will offer an embrace of the collective love and respect Tim inspired throughout his life.
