Tommy John Owen Sr., aged 83, of Central Square, NY, passed away on January 4, 2026. Born on January 16, 1942, Tommy lived a life marked by love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for family and friends.

He was the beloved son of John and Louise Owen and was preceded in death by his cherished partner, Linda Springer, whose spirit he carried with him throughout his lifetime. Tommy was also predeceased by his daughter, Sandy Owen, and his grandsons, Nicholas Dupre and Benjamin Springer.

Tommy is survived by his son, Tommy Owen Jr., and his daughter, Barb Bisson. He is survived by his step-children, Stephen (Kay) Springer, John (Shannon) Springer, Laurie (Tim) Dupre, and Michael (Shelley) Springer. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were in his life and whom he loved dearly.

A man of varied interests, Tommy shared a special bond with Linda, as they loved moments spent at the casino and explored garage sales together. His love extended to all animals, and he found joy in the exciting world of NASCAR racing.

Visitation will be held on January 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY, 13212. Family and friends are invited to gather as they remember and celebrate his life.
