Troy L. Gates Sr., 70, of Chittenango, passed away (Thursday). He retired from Chrysler and was a hunter and avid sportsman.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Pat) Murphy, Troy Gates Jr., Daniel Gates, Casey Gates and Tory Whitman; brother, Don Gates; sisters, Dorothy Oger and Beverly Norcross; grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his best friend, George Milligan.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be private.
