Vincent C. Formica, age 96, of North Syracuse, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 after a short illness. He was born on February 6th, 1927 to Anthony and Carmila Formica. Vincent was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and then went on to serve in the United State Army during World War II. His greatest pride and joy was his family.
Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary (Pavlas) Formica; son, James (Mary Ann) Formica of Southbend, Indiana; daughter Linda (Robert) Felter of Eagan, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Alexander, Ryan, Chadwick, and Elisabeth; one great grandchild, Tristan; and several nieces and nephews.
A brief visitation will be held Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 from 9:30am - 10:00am at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00am. Burial will be made in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Thursday February 1st, at 1:00PM.
