Violet M. Draves, 81, of North Syracuse passed away on Sunday with her family by her side.
Violet enjoyed crafting and helping others. She always wanted to brighten other people's day with her cheerful smile.
Surviving are her children, Sherry (Brian) DeForest, Fred (Tammy) Stuter, Sharon Paninski, and Jamie Salvage; daughter-in-law, Donna Olson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Chris Olson.
Per Violet's wishes there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HumaneCNY or the American Cancer Society.
