Virginia Doughty, 88, of Syracuse and formerly of Newport News, VA, passed away peacefully on Saturday. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was a faithful servant to her Lord.
Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Doyle Doughty and two sons, David and James Doughty.
Virginia is survived by a son, Daniel (Patricia); daughter, Annette (Kent) Engelmann; grandchildren, Devan, Tammy, Shawn, Hope, Gino and Daniel Doughty, Rachel Gates and Carl Engelmann; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ashlyn, Avery, LJ and Ashley; sister, Sonia; daughter-in-laws, Theresa and Linda and many nieces and nephews.
Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
