Walter E. McPherson

Walter E. McPherson, 81, of Syracuse, passed away with family by his side on May 16, 2025. Walt was born in Oneida, New York on August 31, 1943 to Walter and Marion McPherson.

Walt was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He later retired from Bayberry Post Office, where he worked as a letter carrier. In his free time, he enjoyed his pets, karate, and watching sports.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Meshurle; and father, Walter E. McPherson, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary McPherson; step-son, John (Carolyn) Pardee; and grandchildren, Jesse and Jackie.
