On May 1,2026 William Martin Davis passed away from an unexpected pulmonary medical event.
Billy (Chilly Willy) was born in Syracuse, NY on August 23,1991 to Michael and Carolyn Davis.
He grew up in Liverpool, NY, and graduated from Liverpool High School in 2009.
As a young child and teenager, Billy enjoyed camping, working out, school, writing, and trips to the NY lakes, especially Sandy Pond and Saranac Lake with his family. He loved the water. If there was a lake, ocean, or pool nearby, Billy was in it. He was a die- hard Green Bay Packer fan. There wasn't a sport he did not like. He loved playing basketball with his older brother, Mike, and cousins Jeff and Matt. He loved family, and his parents made sure that he spent time with all grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was kind, funny, and a sensitive soul who viewed the world differently than most. He was not a man of luxury. He valued simplicity, nature, walking, fresh air, dogs, and routine. He was a son, a brother, a grandchild, a nephew, and a Christian.
As an adult, Billy was no stranger to pain and suffering. The past 15 years were extremely difficult for him. He bore the cross of mental affliction and the loss of his beloved mother at the age of 26. But through it all, this handsome blue-eyed warrior never complained once. He was a man of few words, but a steady presence.
He walked daily by himself, or so it appeared. He had a friend in Jesus, who walked alongside him every day. He was not alone as one would think. God always returned Bill home safely to his father every day.
He was predeceased in death by his mother Carolyn A. Brown Davis, His Grandmother Ann, His Grandpa Joe and Nanni and dog Chaeko. He is survived by his father, Michael Davis, His brother Michael Davis Jr., His Papa Donald Brown, His Step- Grandmother Joyce Brown along with many aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Young Bill has returned home to His Heavenly Father now. He has been reunited with his mom whom he loved and dearly missed. The heavenly door has been opened and Jesus has spoken. Well done, good and faithful servant, I will make you ruler of many things. Enter thou into the Joy of the Lord. Behold, I make all things new.
We love you Billy so much.
There will be no immediate services. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
In Lieu of flowers and donations, perhaps you can take a walk if able, say a prayer, visit a lake or hand out warm Green Bay Packer hats this winter to the homeless in Bill's memory.
