William E. Guckert, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday. Born in Syracuse, Bill drove tractor trailer for Carolina Freight. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War and was a member of the Syracuse Adelphi Club.
Bill is survived by his wife, Lois; his aunt, Ruth Pesone; and several nieces and nephews;
Services will be held on Thursday 10 a.m. at the Bellewood Baptist Church, N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
