William G. Foster, 83 of Syracuse, NY passed away on August 6, 2024. Born in Syracuse, NY on May 24, 1941 to the late William V. and Leona M. Foster. He retired from ADT and then worked for McLane Northeast.
He loved the outdoors, fishing, trapping, hunting and gardening. He loved spending time with family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He also valued teaching his family his hobbies and life skills. He loved being able to provide for his friends and family the bounty of his yearly garden.
He is survived by his children, Colleen (Arthur) Dudden, William (Lisa) Foster, Robert (Catherine) Foster and Maureen Foster; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Susan Foster and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his brother, Brian Foster.
Calling hours will held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse, NY 13212 on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10-12pm. Funeral Services will follow at 12pm. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
