William H. Rounsville

William H. Rounsville, 79, of Hannibal, passed away Saturday after a courageous battle, never giving up. Bill was a plumber/pipefitter and a business entrepreneur. He was a sports enthusiast enjoying New York professional teams with his family. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Navy and a member/past commander of the Hannibal VFW. Bill was committed to community service. He is predeceased by his wife, Gloria.
Bill is survived by seven children, Pam Larmer, Jerry (Pam), Bill (Sherry), Cathie (Ed) Homer, Stewart, Ashley, Leslie; step daughter, Stephanie Crooks; nine grand-children; one great grand-daughter; a brother, Ray (Pat); several nieces, nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 12-3 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 3PM.
The family extends their gratitude to the entire VA Hospital, 8th floor for their compassionate care.
