William Lee

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William Lee, affectionately known as Billy, or as many called him, Vintage Brewsky. He departed this life on May 18, 2025, in Syracuse, NY, just days shy of his 68th birthday, a day he always celebrated with infectious joy and a hearty laugh.

Billy was a radiant soul, bursting with warmth and vivacity. He had a big heart and was selflessly generous; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His vibrant spirit drew people to him, as he effortlessly filled every room with laughter and camaraderie. 

Billy dived into life with both feet. He loved to fish, loved cooking and barbequing too. His gentle hands turned construction and landscaping into crafts of fine artistry. He also loved caring for his cherished Bamboo plant, sculpting it lovingly until it transformed into a living masterpiece, just like him.

As we hold close the memories of our beloved Billy, we are reminded of his spirit—alive and vibrant. His sister Mary stands as a testament to his legacy, alongside his cherished nieces and nephews: Kelly, David, Jennifer, Jeffery, and Travis. Each of them holds a fragment of his heart, each a testament to his love and unyielding spirit.

We invite friends and family to join us in a Celebration of Life held in honor our Vintage Brewsky’s life and birthday, on June 19, 2025, at the BBQ located at 5522 Kathan Rd, Brewerton, NY. 

The celebrations will commence at 1:00 PM and continue until 3:00 PM. In the spirit of Billy, we encourage all to come together to share stories, laughter, and good food—just as he would have wanted. Let us remember him not through somber flowers but through the joy that he brought into our lives, remembering the spirit of life he embodied until his final breath.
