William J. "Bill" Pufky

William J. “Bill” Pufky died unexpectedly doing what he loved on Monday, September 22, 2025. 

Bill was a devoted 23-year veteran of the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office.

Bill lived his life to the fullest and lived by the motto “life is good”. He loved his family, camp, late night snacks, motorcycle rides, and hunting. Bill is survived by his two daughters, Brooke (Joe) and Rachel, his sister, Kimberly, his two grandchildren, Marco and Frankie, and his niece, Koko.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 5pm – 7pm with a service to follow at 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals – North Syracuse.
