William R. Leyland, 58, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at home with family at his side. He retired from Crouse Hospital with 35 years of service. William was proud to be a grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Violet Leyland; sons, Scott and Stephen Leyland; daughter, Tina Hacic; grandchildren, Shannen and Brandon; sisters, Pearl Thompson, Eileen Scullion, Millie Gosney, Rose O'Connell; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral, before services.
