William Reschke

We the children of William Reschke, announce with heavy hearts, the passing of our father, 80, of North Syracuse, on January 15th, 2026. Bill was born in Syracuse, NY on December 24th 1945.

He attended Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from St. John the Baptist High School. An entrepreneur, Bill operated and owned auto businesses and van customizing. He retired from Bristol Myers Squibb, proud to have helped assure safety procedures within the company.

A talented musician, Bill was in a band and was self taught in multiple instruments. He continued to write music, play and sing throughout his life.

Bill was also model train enthusiast. He hand crafted landscapes and towns for small scale trains and enjoyed sharing his hobby with others in model train clubs.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Reschke, Jr. and his mother, Veronica Reschke.

Bill is survived by his children, Denise (Mark) Ball, William (Cynthia) Reschke, Matthew Reschke and Christine (Trevor) Slate; grandchildren and great grandchildren that brightened his days; sisters, Susan Reschke CSJ and Ann (Mark) Anderson; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no services at this time. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks for the outpouring of love and support received!
