James R. Garrett, 69, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday at the VA Community Living Center. Born in Watertown, NY, Jim graduated from Lyme Central HS in 1960. He served in the US Navy from 1961-1965. He retired from CNA Insurance in 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol; their children, Brenda Place, Richard “Rick” (Vicky) Garrett and James “Jamie” Garrett; brother, Francis Garrett; sister, Cathie Davis; two grandchildren, Jessica and Lauren Place.
Services will be Saturday, 9AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Onondaga Co. Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
