On Sunday, August 13th, Geraldine Rose (Liestman) Sokolowski passed in the company of her family. Geraldine was born January 12, 1922 the daughter of James Liestman and Edna Price of Rochester, New York.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1965, and had enjoyed 95 full years of life at the time of her passing. Geraldine or Gerry as she was known to her family and friends, worked for the New York Telephone Company for over 40 years. She had many hobbies and interests including golf, bowling, traveling, dancing and spending time with her family. She was an avid cat lover often taking in strays, and collecting anything with a cat on it.

Gerry is survived by her son, James, and his wife Diane; her grandsons, their wives, and children, Nathan Sokolowski and Megan, and Mark Sokolowski, Courtney, and their sons, Miles and Felix; and her step-grandson, his wife, and children, Ryan Bednarek, Ashley, Cameron, Carson, and Caleigh.
