August 30, 2015

Alice L. Spring, 76, formerly of N. Syracuse, passed peacefully on Sunday. She was surrounded by her children and her loving and devoted husband Jon, of 58 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed. She was born in NY City on March 10, 1939 to the late Henry and Edna Isabell. She was an office manager for J & E Pile Driving for many years. She enjoyed traveling, playing Bingo, Syracuse college sports and spending time with her family.

Alice is survived by her loving husband, Jon, her 3 sons; Jon Spring, Jr., Stephen (Jennifer) Spring, Gary (Susan) Spring; 3 daughters; Lori (Glenn) Edick, Jodi (Dean) Roberts, Roxanne (Thomas) Gallup; 2 sisters; Irene (Raymond) Christopher, Betty Ann (Emilio) Isabell-Ruiz;4 brothers; Henry (Joanne) Isabell, Sonny (Ellen) Isabell, Edmond (Nina) Isabell, Tom (Gail) Isabell; 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly, father, Henry Isabell, mother, Edna Isabell, brothers, Harvey & Edward, and sister, Yvette Kisil.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Donations may be made in Alice’s name to HPH Marliere Hospice Center, 6807 Rowan Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34653
