John M. Pendell,83, of Central Square, passed away peacefully at home on Friday with his family by his side.
John was a past President of Teamsters Local 1149, worked for Utica Club and retired from Anheuser-Busch. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. John had a great sense of humor but most of all he was full of love for his family.
John was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Geddings.
John is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy; children, Christine (Randall) Shaw, Mary McClowry, John L. Pendell, Sandra (Marvin) Anderson, Kim (Clark) Storrs and James Pendell; son-in-law, Kevin Geddings; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 6th 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
Mass will be Wednesday at 10AM at Divine Mercy Church, C. Square with burial to follow in Hastings Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Divine Mercy Building Fund.
