William was born in Syracuse, NY on August 29, 1925 to the late Edward and Helen Storms.
William served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific Theatre.
Bill owned and operated Storms Plating for 20 years before retiring in 1982. He and his wife traveled to Florida for the winters and went on several Caribbean cruises with friends.
While in NY, Bill enjoyed living on Oneida Lake and was an avid fisherman.
He was predeceased by Son, Gary Storms and Granddaughter, Amber Storms.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Florence Storms; five Sons, Donald Storms, William Storms, Douglas Richard Storms, David Storms and Kevin Storms; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, 10 AM at North Syracuse Cemetery.
