Robert M. Skurpski, 85, of East Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday in Augusta, GA surrounded by family. He was born in Syracuse, NY on July 24, 1933 son of the late Frank and Mary Skurpski.

Bob served in the US Marines Corps. during the Korean War.

Bob retired from Western Electric in East Syracuse after many years. In 1954 he was married to Marion Cooper until her passing in 1995. Bob enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his children, Lee Anne (Craig) Wisecarver, of Arnoldsville, GA, Kevin (Vinette) Skurpski of Chittenango, Michael Skurpski, of Jensen Beach, FL, Karen (Raymond) Mims of Arnoldsville, GA, Kaye Marie (Brent) Ralston, of Liberty, MO; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank (Alice) Skurpski and Henry (Rosina) Skurpski; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Gertrude Pepe.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10 am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow at 12 pm.

Burial will take place at Collamer Cemetery.
