Charles Thomas Jones, 87, of Canastota, passed away March 23, 2019.

Charles was born in Swissvale, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1931 to the late Thomas and Dorothy Jones.

He married his wife of 62 years, Doris Reichert, on June 23, 1956 in Swissvale, PA.

Charles retired from Carrier Corporation in 1992.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and camping. Most of all he enjoyed trips to Lancaster, PA.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Jones.

He is survived by his wife Doris Jones; two sons, Charles Thomas (Donna) Jones, and Christopher (Julie Roache) Jones; two daughters, Cynthia Leverich, and Denise (Robert) Haldenwang; fourteen grandchildren, Jesse, and Jason Jones, Annemarie and Sean Sweeney-Jones, Brittany, Ashley, and Michael Leverich, Robert, Charles, and Sabrina Haldenwang, Alexandria, Christopher, Carter, and Coltan Jones; nine great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
