Joyce L. Smith, age 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness on the morning of Friday, May 17, 2019 at Francis House in Syracuse, New York.

Joyce was born to Elizabeth M. and Wallace L. Smith in 1942. She spent many years working and promoting the Florist Industy throughout Upstate, New York.

Joyce was very active in life and never hesitated to share her wisdom with those she worked with and loved which earned her the nickname, โ€œThe Voice.โ€ Her compassion and love for family was endless as well as her commitment to doing what was morally right. She had a heart of gold, beautiful inside and out, gave of herself and worldly possessions without hesitation to friends and those that were in need.
