George W. Weninger, 87, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born on July 11, 1932 son of the late George and Rose Weninger.
George retired from Miller Brewery Co. George was a very hardworking man and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He had a great love for God, family and neighbors. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn. He was also predeceased by his sister, Helen LaParr.
George is survived by his daughters, Cynthia (Keith) Thrasher, Rebecca Metcalf, and grandson, Wren (Michelle) Metcalf.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
