Sara B. Tausend, 30, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday. Sara was born in Syracuse on November 9, 1990 daughter of Frank Salatti and Trina Tausend. She last worked at Van Duyn Nursing Home. Sara was one with a big heart. She always would help her family and friends. She would volunteer her time to the Salvation Army ringing the bells for Christmas time.

She is survived by her mother, Trina Tausend (Tom Hemingway), father, Frank Salatti, her grandparents Frank & Diane Salatti, sister Kim Tausend, brothers, Brandon Tausend, Andraia Love, sons, Nyzaire Tausend, King Learry, nieces & nephews; Tremari Jones, Bella Tausend, Henry Zachery, Janiah Zacheary, Issiah Zacheary, aunts; Tanya (Tim) Watchhorn, Melody (Mike) Verrillo, Nancy DeCarlo, Christine Salatti & Denice Salatti, and her close cousin, Jessica DeCarlo & other cousins Selena Smith, Tara Simon, Shila Simon, Kiersten Simon, Noah DeCarlo, Corey, Michael, Justin, Jamien & Tosha Verrillo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 3rd from 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main, N. Syracuse, with a sharing of memories at 7pm.

Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
