Freida M. Lewis, 81 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 27th, 2021. Born on January 24, 1940 in Palermo, NY to the late Lloyd Lewis and Frances Sherwood.

She worked as a factory worker for Cambridge Company. She loved watching wrestling, enjoyed bingo and was a natural nurturer, especially babies.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Richard Lewis and Robert Gaffney.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 from 10am-12pm. Burial will follow at West Monroe Cemetery, West Monroe, NY.

Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside.
