Jay A. Taskey
1974 - 2021

Jay A. Taskey March 27, 2021, 46 years young passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home. He was born in Syracuse on August 11,1974.

He lived most of his life in the Syracuse area. Jay attended Cicero-North Syracuse schools and received an Associates of Art degree from Canisius College.

He is survived by the love of his life his wife Heidi, mother Mary Jo (Mark) Dennee, father Stephen Taskey, 4 children Alexandria, Kennedy, Jayce and Madisson, brother Travis (Tracy) Clark, nephews Dawson and Dylan, step children Danny and Ciara, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Predeceased by both maternal and paternal grandparents also his mother-in-law Joanne Wingerter.

Jay loved to ride his motorcycle every chance he got. He enjoyed working on motorcycles with Chuck Allen and his Subaru with his cousin Josh Taskey. Chilling in the pool, bonfires with beers, hanging with his many friends.

Jay really enjoyed his job and the people he worked with at Hardware Specialty. He had such diverse collection of music that he liked to listen to really loudly. In his later years he tried really hard to make up for his mistakes that he made in his earlier life. Jay was more then a man. He was a husband, father and hard worker. Despite his demeanor he was a really good person.
