Jane Edith Hartman, 66, formerly of West Amboy and most recently of Clay, NY, suddenly passed away on Thursday, July 22nd. She was a graduate of APW High School and was a nurse at Loretto Nursing Home; as well as, private home care. Jane was a loving caretaker of everyone; she was always putting everyone elses needs first.

She was a God loving Episcopalian who attended several churches in the area. Jane was a loving Mother and friend. She was a “grandmother” to all of her friend’s children and grandchildren.

Jane was an avid reader and bird watcher.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Hartman; son, Jack Hartman and best friend who she considered a sister, Nancy Wright.

Jane is survived by her son, James M.S. Hartman.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 29th 1-3 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 3 PM.
