Romaine was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on January 15, 1927 to the late Robley and Beulah Saylor. She was loved by everyone and always had a smile on her face. She loved singing and dancing, traveling, putting together puzzles and playing cards, most importantly loved spending time with her family, kids, and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Robert LaFave, and Johnny LaFave; and her husband, Oscar LaFave.
She is survived by five sons, Gary LaFave, Donald (Darlene) LaFave, Timothy J. LaFave, Richard LaFave, and Ted (Mary) LaFave; two daughters, Denise Smith, and Cynthia Avery; a daughter-in-law, Sue LaFave; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Monday, January 17th 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 18th at 10 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
