Donald J. Russo, 85, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, January 12th in South Carolina.
Donald was born in Syracuse on August 24, 1936 son of the late Donato and Ida Russo.
Donald retired from Agway in 1997 after 30 years where he met many lifelong friends.
Aside from his family and friends, Donald had a love for SU sports, LA Dodgers, his Cleveland Browns and golf.
Donald was predeceased by his sister, Rosina Morgan and Barbara Russo, the mother of his 3 daughters.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna Russo, daughters, Susan (Howard) Bryerton, Nancy (Daniel) Amidon, Laurie (David) French, step-daughters, Regan Adam & Stacy Pace and their families, 8 grandchildren, Steven, Kevin, Emily, Josh, Jeremy, Shannon, Nicholas & Adam, 4 great grandsons, Finley, Hayden, Weston & Wyatt and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday Jan. 24th at 10am at St. John's the Baptist Church. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery.
